Objective Project Tracking

Ardent employs an objective project tracking system. This is accomplished through various tools most often an MSAccess® database.

The Project Tracking Database is built on a philosophy and method of defining and relating E&I scope (where possible) to objective and finite, identifiable, and traceable increments.

Each increment is precisely valued based on estimated quantities and applied units, providing accurately weighted values to be captured through an earned value calculation.

At its core this system depends on an increment being complete or incomplete. The purpose of this tracking database is to provide accurate and timely information to project management and craft supervision.

This information is used to identify potential problems, so that resources and information can be properly deployed, avoiding schedule impact, and ensure successful project completion.
