Operations

Albert Vallotton - President & CEO

Mr. Vallotton is one of the co-founders, where during the firm’s start-up, growth and acquisition phase, he served as Executive Vice President and COO. Prior to co-founding Ardent in 2002, Mr. Vallotton served as Manager of Capital Projects with SECO Industries, an industrial electrical contracting firm which he joined as a Project Engineer in 1989. Mr. Vallotton holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana State University (LSU) and is a Master Electrician and electrical contracting Qualifying Party in multiple states.

James Heurtin, CPA – Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Heurtin joined Ardent in July 2015 to lead the financial and administrative team. Prior to joining Ardent, Mr. Heurtin served as the CFO for LEEVAC Shipbuilders, L.L.C from 2013 to 2015. Mr. Heurtin was also the Vice-President of Financial Reporting for Superior Energy Services, Inc. (NYSE: SPN) from 2006 to 2013, a specialized oilfield services and equipment serving energy industry customers who focus on developing and producing oil and gas.  Mr. Heurtin has a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business from Rhodes College, a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Taxation from the University of New Orleans.

Steve Jambon – Executive Vice President

Mr. Jambon joined Ardent in May 2016 after 30 years of services with similar electrical and instrumentation companies, including SECO.  During his years of experience, Mr. Jambon has managed all aspects of operations. He is a licensed journeyman in two states.

Pat Malloy – Executive Vice President

Mr. Malloy has over 30 years of experience in the electrical and instrumentation and power line construction. Prior to becoming a co-founder of Ardent Services in 2002, Mr. Malloy was employed by SECO Industries from 1981-2002. During his career, Mr. Malloy advanced through field operations to key management positions. Mr. Malloy holds electrical trade licenses in various states.

Nathan Gulino – Vice President

Mr. Gulino joined Ardent in January 2017 and currently serves as the river region of Louisiana as well as Alabama. Since graduating from the construction management program at LSU in 2001, Mr. Gulino has worked in the electrical and instrumentation contracting industry. He is currently a member of the ABC Young Professional Program and a current member of the LSU Construction Industry Counsel.

Ray Landry – Vice President

Mr. Landry has been with Ardent Services since January of 2008. Mr. Landry joined SECO Industries in January of 1982 and has a combined 36 years of experience in Electrical & Instrumentation Construction and Plant Maintenance. He is currently overseeing the capital projects division of Ardent Services throughout the U.S.

Steve Rogers - Vice President

Mr. Rogers has been with Ardent Services since May 2002 and currently serves the South Texas and Gulf of Mexico market areas. He has been part of the industry for over 34 years. Previously, Steve was part of field services and project management with SECO industries.

Larry Smith – Vice President

Mr. Smith has been with Ardent Services since March 2003 and currently serves midstream market clients throughout the country. Mr. Smith has over 30 years of experience in the midstream construction industry.

Greg Wilson - Vice President

Mr. Wilson leads our Texas and Oklahoman operations. He has over 33 years of experience in the electrical and instrumentation contracting industry. Mr. Wilson joined SECO Industries in 1992 and transitioned to Ardent Services in 2002 concentrating his management efforts in the downstream petrochemical and refinery markets along the Houston Ship Channel.

Wendell Martin – Operations Manager

Mr. Martin joined Ardent in March 2018 as the Operations manager in the West Texas serving the Permian Basin upstream and midstream markets. Mr. Martin brings over 21 years of electrical industry experience.

Tim Monson – Operations Manager

Mr. Monson joined Ardent in 2012 as an intern while completing a Construction Management degree at LSU. During the internship, Mr. Monson worked as a field craftsman, project engineer, estimator, and corporate administrator. Since receiving his degree in 2016, Mr. Monson ran various projects throughout the Rocky Mountain and North Central regions of the US before stepping into his current role servicing these regions.

Blake Zirlott – Operations Manager

Mr. Zirlott joined Ardent in August 2017 as the Operations manager for the Alabama office to better serve the Alabama and Mississippi Gulf coast industrial, marine markets and commercial construction projects. Mr. Zirlott brings over 25 years of experience and holds a master electrical license in numerous states.

Sales

Jude Richard – Vice President

Mr. Richard has over 40 years of experience in the electrical and instrumentation primarily serving the upstream Oil and Gas market segments. Prior to being a co-founder of Ardent Services in 2002, Mr. Richard was employed by SECO Industries from 1982-2002.

Jay Coxe – Business Development

Mr. Coxe has been with Ardent Services since November 2015 currently serving as the Ardent’s national EPC and capital project business developer. Mr. Coxe’s  experience in the industry includes sales, project management, technical operations management, and business unit management. He is a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University.

Ken Cedotal – Business Development

Since joining Ardent in November 2010, Mr. Cedotal promotes Ardent’s services to the Midstream owners and general contractors. Mr. Cedotal has over 40 years’ experience in the industry. He is currently a member of The Pipeliners’ Association of Houston and Louisiana.

Mike Rooney – Business Development

Mr. Rooney joined Ardent in March 2013 and has over 45 years of electrical and instrumentation industrial experience with various organizations. He markets to the river regions of Louisiana as well as Alabama. Mike has served on the Board for ABC Bayou for the past 13 years as well as the Treasurer for Gulf Coast Safety Council for the last 9 years. He also serves on the Greater New Orleans Business Round Table Executive Board.

Dan Danburg – Business Development

Mr. Danburg joined Ardent in October 2017. Prior to joining Ardent, Mr. Danburg serves the Baton Rouge industrial region. Mr. Danburg has a bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University (LSU). He is actively involved with the ABC Pelican Chapter, LCIA, BGRIA and Young Professionals.

Mike Bethel – Business Development

Mr. Bethel has been with Ardent Services since September 2003 and currently serves as Ardent’s West Coast business development manager.  Mr. Bethel’s experience in the industry includes sales, project management, operations management, and business unit management. 

Mark Ramsay– Business Development

Mr. Ramsay joined Ardent in 2018 and concentrates on the Houston area downstream markets.  Prior to joining Ardent, Mr. Ramsay’s experience is in Engineering, Construction and Business Development.  Mr. Ramsay graduated from Oklahoma State.

Estimating

Mark Durr – Chief Estimator

Mr. Durr joined Ardent in 2014 with over 28 years of estimating experience, with stints at Davis International and Merit Electrical. Mr. Durr began his electrical career in 1987 and worked at numerous industrial facilities while attending Associated Building Contractors Pelican Chapter’s 4-year Electrical and Instrumentation program.

Safety

Eric Smith – Corporate Director of HSE and Risk Management

Mr. Smith joined Ardent in July 2012 and has over 20 years of combined work in the medical and safety fields. Mr. Smith has experience working in private industries and industrial markets both onshore and offshore. He has an associate degree in Occupational Health and Safety, is a Certified Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist, and is a long-time member of the American Society of Safety Engineers, the National Fire Protection Association, and the International Risk Management Institute.

Human Resources

Cheryl Andrus – Human Resources Director

Ms. Andrus joined Ardent in July 2018 as HR Director.   While in Houston, she was HR Director for United States Environmental Services, an environmental and emergency response company, where she held responsibility for Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi and Tennessee. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University and has been an active member with SHRM for over 10 years.
