Albert Vallotton, President & CEO

Albert Vallotton has over twenty years of experience in industrial electrical construction management and as a member of Ardent's team. Since joining the team in 1989, Albert advanced through the ranks within our Capital Projects operation, building a long resume of successful capital project experience in Louisiana, Texas, California and Mississippi. Prior to taking on his current role as President, Al was often found leading a project or our emergency response teams following a hurricane, fire or flood. His site management experience includes over 1,000,000 safe manhours on Deepwater Topsides - Mars, Ram/Powell and Ursa. He is an integral part of planning and preparation for success on major capital projects.

Albert has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana State University. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Community Works of Louisiana, a non-profit 501(c)3 dedicated to improving education through afterschool and summer enrichment programs, and also participates in Junior Achievement as a volunteer instructor in economics and personal finance.

Bill Bryant, Bakersfield Operations Manager

Bill Bryant has over thirty years of experience in industrial electrical construction and maintenance management. Since joining Ardent in 1987, Bill advanced from Electrician to Project Manager and then to Operations Manager within Ardent's California operations, building a long resume of successful project experience in California, Washington and Wyoming. Bill has managed over a million safe man-hours with several key clients and his site management experience in estimating, procurement, document controls, scheduling, and execution is a key asset to Ardent's management team.

Bill has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University. He is also a member and teacher with the Board of Education at ABC Central California and also enjoys volunteer coaching in Youth Softball Leagues.

Calvin Rhines, Manager of Estimating

Calvin Rhines has over thirty years of experience in industrial electrical design, construction, and management and as a member of Ardent's team. Since joining the team in 1981 and rejoining in 1999, Calvin has been involved with estimating, bid preparation and engineering technical matters. Calvin also has over 10 years' experience in the industry as both a project manager for a west coast engineering firm and a project engineer at a local refinery in south Louisiana.

Calvin has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana State University and is a registered Professional Engineer in Louisiana, Alabama, Texas, and California.

Dale Brehm, Vice President Eastern Region

Dale Brehm has worked in the electrical and instrumentation industry for over 30 years; starting as a field craftsman, and working his way up through different levels of project supervision, site management, and ultimately senior management positions. Dale's experience is very diverse across many industries such as refining, midstream oil and gas, marine, drilling, offshore oil and gas, power, and gas processing, on projects ranging in values over twenty million. Since joining Ardent, Dale has developed a team to lead the ever expanding midstream and shale markets across the country, while continuing to open up other industry opportunities within his region. Dale's extensive experience in safely and efficiently executing projects across the country proves invaluable to Ardent's team.

Dale is a graduate of Delgado College in New Orleans with an Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology. Dale has also maintained a long list of industry, management, and safety training certifications over the years. He is an active member of South Point Church in Jefferson Parish, where he leads specific teams to support weekly worship services. Dale has participated in numerous Christian mission trips, and volunteered with local outreach teams to support needy families in the New Orleans metropolitan area.

Edward Rondey, Senior Project Manager

Edward Rondey has over 20 years of experience in industrial electrical and instrumentation construction management. Edward received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Orleans in 1991, joining Ardent's management team the same year. He was immediately assigned to major projects such as the Auger deepwater project. A series of major Gulf of Mexico deepwater projects followed, including Mars, Ram/Powell, Ursa, Brutus and Nakika projects, and Nansen and Boomvang projects. Edward advanced from field engineer to project engineer to project manager, and was site manager for simultaneous construction of the Nansen and Boomvang topsides utilizing a single project team. Edward has also managed numerous industrial projects, primarily for West Coast refineries, and a unique nuclear medicine facility in Jacksonville, FL.

During the formative months of Ardent Services, Edward played a key role in the development and refinement of the IIPP – Injury and Illness Prevention Plan (Safety Manual). This document received third party certification.

Edward's experience includes all facets of major project planning and execution, with core capabilities focusing on project controls and specifically precise production tracking utilizing Ardent's proprietary construction tracking database. Edward continues to be a dedicated member of Ardent's team and key contributor to Ardent's success.

Eric Smith, Corporate Director of HS&E

Eric Smith has over twenty years combined work experience as a medical and safety professional. Eric has worked in private industries serving the public and in the industrial construction markets serving oil and gas industries both onshore and offshore. Prior to joining Ardent Services in August 2012 as Corporate Director of HS&E, Eric transitioned from his medical career as a Nationally Registered Paramedic and entered the field of Occupational Safety. Eric has progressed through the ranks of safety by working in the field as a Safety Representative on multiple large construction projects and turnarounds and has spent the last several years working as a Safety Manager.

Eric has an Associate's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety and is also a Certified Occupational Safety Specialist along with being a long-time member of the American Society of Safety Engineers.

Greg Wilson, Houston Operations Manager

Greg Wilson has over twenty eight years of experience in the industrial electrical and instrumentation construction field. Since joining the team in early 1992, Greg has advanced through the ranks from field supervision to project management, then onto operations management. His industrial electrical and instrumentation experience consists of a number of projects in the petroleum refining, petrochemical, onshore and offshore oil and gas, and mining and minerals industries throughout the Southern and Western United States. Greg is the Manager for our Houston operation and continues to be a valued member of the Ardent management team.

John Ly,  Rocky Mountain Region Operations Manager

John Ly started with Ardent Services in 2005 as a Project Engineer and has since been promoted to a Regional Operations Manager. Since joining the team, John has played a key role in several large projects nationwide totaling over 500,000 man-hours. All projects were worked safely, completed on time, and under budget. John has managed projects in food-grade construction, offshore production, chemical plants, refineries, and power generation.

John has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston and is also an active member of the local Rock Springs community contributing to various programs, such as, city-wide clean-ups, the local food bank, and the local junior wrestling league.

Jude Richard, Vice President West Gulf Coast Operations

Jude Richard joined the Ardent team in 1982 as a sales manager for the Lafayette, Louisiana operation. Through his sales efforts, the West Gulf Coast operation quickly grew to become one of the topmost successful operations companywide, and in 1985 Jude was promoted to the position of Operations Manager which he has held since that time. Under Jude’s leadership, the Lafayette operation services the offshore Gulf of Mexico region, including offshore maintenance and construction, along with new construction in fabrication yards along the Gulf Coast. He also manages the sales and operation efforts in the Eagle Ford Shale area of south Texas, and the Haynesville Shale area in North Louisiana.

Jude has a Bachelor of Arts degree in City and Regional Planning from the University of Louisiana in Lafayette. He is also very active in the community as both a board member and past President of the Bright Light Foundation, a charity that provides financial assistance to those families in the oilfield that have been stricken by catastrophic illnesses.

Kelly Bankston, Corporate Human Resources Director

Kelly Bankston joined Ardent in December of 2012 and has since begun various compliance and corporate Human Resources improvement initiatives. Prior to taking on her current role as Ardent's Corporate Human Resources Director, Kelly was a Payroll/Benefits Coordinator in South Louisiana for a reputable company which supported a total of about a thousand employees. She is now an integral part of Ardent's preparation for future growth and can be found striving for continual improvement and efficiency within the Human Resources Department. Kelly's experience in the areas of employee training, benefits, compliance, harassment, FMLA, ADA, policy development, procedure improvement and development makes her a key part of Ardent's management team.

Kelly graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with honors and holds both a Master's degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in Management and Economics. She has also published several business articles located in the Journal of Applied Business Research, the Economic Reporter and on Kelly was previously involved in various honors and service organizations, which included initiatives focused on giving back to the surrounding community, such as charities, donations and volunteering in the community.

Patrick Malloy, Vice President Western Region

Patrick Malloy is a dynamic part of Ardent's management team and has nearly thirty years of experience in electrical and instrumentation and power line construction. Since joining Ardent in 1981, Patrick has advanced through field operations to key management positions on the west coast. Patrick has focused on building long-term partnerships with a large number of industrial clients including oil and gas, pipeline, mining and minerals and food processing industries.

Patrick holds several electrical trade licenses in various states and continues to be an exemplary leader as Vice President of Ardent's Western Regional operations.

Robert Brady, Executive Vice President, Business Development

Brady is the energetic leader of our Sales Team.  With over 30 years of successful business development, operations management and program management experience, his creative leadership has made Ardent’s Sales Team second to none.  Brady graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor of Science degree and acquired experience through hard work, discipline and commitment.  Brady’s background includes natural gas, energy, upstream work, pipelines, petroleum and contract management.  Credited with developing and implementing an online resource center used by BD and operations, and creating the strategy called “Following the Producers” Brady led the industry in increased client counts.  Brady is known for recognizing trends in sales, and reacting early, which allows Ardent to move quickly in different industries. Having a strong love for animals, Brady is active in several community based charities.
