Ardent has built a variety of substations, including air insulated unit substations with ratings ranging from 800 megawatts/230 kilovolts to one megawatt/five kilovolt.

Power Transmission and Distribution
Ardent also boasts the capabilities to install overhead and underground power distribution systems, including fiber optic and other communication cabling systems. Further, our experienced team can provide constructability reviews for overhead and underground power projects.
Our transmission and distribution services include installation and maintenance of:
- Transmission lines
- Both overhead and underground
- 115 kilovolts to 60 kilovolts
- Distribution voltages from 35 kilovolts to five kilovolts
- Radial and loop distribution systems
- Secondary distribution systems
- Communication cabling, including fiber optics
